Beautiful Evening on the Lake

Dad and Linda celebrated their 25th anniversary on July 8th.  Since father would not allow the fun party Kathy and I had tried planning I called over to see if the kids and I could take them out to eat.   After a yummy supper at the Pizza Palace we forced dad to get his new pontoon out and take us for a spin on the lake!

The water was absolutely perfect, as was the temperature.  It didn't take long for dad to relax and enjoy himself too.  Or at least I think he did.

By the time dad had taken us down towards the dam the sun had begun to set.   It was purely beautiful.  My kids, who hardly ever get to go to the lake since we are always gone rodeoing sure did appreciate grandpa taking the time to get his boat out and take us for a ride.  We really don't get to do it often and really enjoy it when we do.   Thanks Dad!
